The responsible consulate will provide information for participants or nationals of other countries.
behavior of the participants
All participants are aware that using a mountain bike, both on and off paved roads, places special physical demands and is associated with specific risks. Participation in a tour is always at your own risk and peril. Tours lead both on public roads and paths, as well as on paved and unpaved paths, paths and climbs. Information about the planned route, the length and duration, as well as the level of fitness and/or technical difficulty of a tour are non-binding and only serve to give the participants an approximate impression of the requirements to be expected. The participants must judge for themselves and on their own responsibility and decide whether they meet these requirements. Misjudgments in this context are solely the responsibility of the participants. They are also aware and agree that the course and duration of the tour, e.g. due to weather and road conditions, can be subject to changes at any time - even during the course of a tour - and in particular the time of return can be moved forward or backward. The participants are obliged to behave at all times in such a way that they do not endanger themselves or other participants. This includes in particular a sufficient safety distance and a speed and driving style adapted to the road and visibility conditions as well as personal ability. All participants have to assess their own abilities – especially their condition and driving technique – and adjust their driving style accordingly. In particular, the participants must judge for themselves whether they can ride a section of the trail safely and without endangering themselves or others; if in doubt, a section of the trail should be inspected beforehand and/or the mountain bike pushed or carried. All participants are responsible for complying with the provisions of the road traffic regulations on public roads and paths. The participants are aware that mountain bike tours are associated with certain risks and dangers and accept these risks and dangers consciously and with their full consent. The participants are particularly aware of and accept the fact that falls and the resulting – even severe – property damage, personal injury or financial loss can occur. Dangers and risks can arise in particular, but not only, from the - often changing - weather and road conditions as well as the behavior of third parties. An inadequate state of health, a lack of fitness, as well as overconfidence or insufficient driving skills on the part of the participants can also endanger themselves or others. The guide is not obliged to ensure that the route is secured or to point out dangers.
Guides of the bike school Asymmetrix are entitled to withdraw from the travel contract without notice if a participant, despite a warning, either disrupts the execution of the trip so significantly or behaves in such a way that violates the contract that the immediate cancellation of the contract, also to protect other fellow travelers, is justified. This applies in particular if the customer does not meet the special requirements of the tour (health, physical fitness, ability, etc.).
