The right basic techniques for safety and control on your e-bike. Further description see below.

Do you have a new or borrowed off-road e-bike or e-MTB? Then the e-bike (e-MTB) driving safety course from the bike school Asymmetrix is just right for you, because it will give you more safety and confidence in your new piece of sports equipment. After that you can ride easy to moderately difficult tours and trails. The course is also suitable as preparation for longer tours with the e-bike or e-MTB, such as the Wetterstein round to create or even a small one Alpine crossing.

E-bikes, E-MTBs versus bikes

Today's e-bikes are somewhere between light motorcycles and solid mountain bikes. Exciting and comfortable in any case, but also different: at least twice as heavy as your old bike, snappy disc brakes, strong acceleration, powerful chassis, more demanding in terms of maintenance.

In the e-bike safety course you will get to know and master your e-bike or e-MTB (emtb) properly. At the same time, the right driving technique for asphalt, gravel and unpaved paths and trails. My promise is to give you more control and sovereignty with your e-bike, because then you can enjoy your tours with more fun and without stress.

Driving safety for e-bikers

In the first part, we look at the e-bike-specific features and start on a course with basic riding exercises for control and balance: starting and dismounting in different situations, controlled braking, cornering, mastering small obstacles and steps. In the second part we focus on the combination of motor support and gear shifting on gravel roads and easy trails with small climbs and descents.

target group: Bikers with a new e-bike/e-MTB without many years of off-road experience

difficulty: Green/easy to blue/moderately difficult, ie secondary roads, unpaved forest roads and easy-to-drive roads. Some sufficiently wide single trails and moderate descents and climbs.

My girlfriend and I completed the course last week. Dominik explained everything very well in the morning, we learned a lot in order to apply the technique we had learned in the afternoon in an extensive, super-beautiful landscape in order to safely descend very steep, stony passages. Will definitely book another course. Even with video training! Highly recommended !
