Open MTB training round (trails, forest roads) for all MTB and bike enthusiasts in the upper Isar valley, Mittenwald, Krün, Klais, Wallgau... holidaymakers, guests or members in the Bike Club Mittenwald, the DIMB…. Welcome!

Why you should participate? Almost everyone has had a bicycle for ages, mountain bike, wire donkey, racing bike... We share our cycling stories on tours together. We keep fit, help each other and improve our technique through visual learning. Biking in a group is simply more fun! Biking connects and shows us new perspectives.

  • Length of time: about 2 hours on trails through the upper Isar valley
  • target group: Sporty bikers with MTB (no E-MTB) or gravel bike
  • Minimum age: 16 years
  • Start meeting point: Hiking car park in Gries, Krün or Mittenwald biker train station
  • equipment: MTB (hardtail or full suspension), gravel bike or similar. Helmet, gloves, weather-appropriate clothing. For more equipment/clothing see FAQ
  • Important: Everyone is responsible for their own bike, equipment and health.

This MTB training round in the upper Isar valley around Mittenwald, Krün, Elmau, Wallgau is driven depending on the weather and participants. Possibly with a finale in a cafe, beer garden, mulled wine stand or wherever it suits you.

The longer the days, the longer the round sometimes. Bike & hike to a summit along the way is also conceivable... Possible destinations: 5 lakes circuit, Fischbachalm/Auhütte, Vereiner Alm, Wallgauer Alm, Pleisenhütte, Simetsberg, Altlacher Hochkopf, Isartal trail circuit....

Don't worry, the MTB training round isn't a competition, we'll ride as it comes along...
